• Blue-and-Orange Morality: Due to being Eldritch Gods, they don't operate on the same level of understanding as humans do at their peak. Downplayed in that, due to their slumber, they've effectively been lobotomized and placed on the same level of understanding as a human, though not necessarily the average one.
• Deity of Human Origin: Implied. Given their names and the goals of the Ministry, its implied some of them may have been normal humans who "descended" and "drowned" to become Drowned Gods.
• Divine Conflict: A seemingly one sided one. The Celestials and their followers wage war against them, but none of them are shown exactly retaliating, besides Ethiron, but... you know.
• Eldritch Abomination: Their true forms are completely incomprehensible to the average person, and are merely not beings, but natural disasters taken form.
• The End of the World as We Know It: What would happen if all of them were to fully awake.
• Purple Is Powerful: The color purple is a recurring motif among the Drowned Gods, and they are de facto the strongest beings in the universe.
• Transhuman Abomination: If the theory about Drowned Gods being formerly humans is correct, then they were once humans who descended so much into the Depths without having their soul being torn apart that they became Drowned Gods.

The Shrine of Yun'Shul

"TELL ME, OH CHILD OF WANT, WHAT IS YOUR DESIRE?"

The Drowned God of Scyphozia, who can grant wishes to others... Provided they have something in exchange for it.

• Ambiguously Related: To the various Deep Shrines found across the overworld. They share similar appearances to each other, and entering the Temple of Hearts where Yun'Shul's shrine is located features 2 rows of Deep Shrines, implying that they're also another conduit for Yun'Shul, albeit weaker.
• But for Me, It Was Tuesday: Doesn't seem typically impressed by the Ministry drowning an entire civilization in their name, almost coming off as a bit miffed about it.
• Cast from Hit Points: The enchant named after it has a chance of subtracting 5% of the user's health in exchange for having their weapon deal the amount of damage plus the health deduced from its user, and very rarely can sometimes subtract 7% of the user's health in exchange for having their weapon deal the amount of damage plus 10% of the player's max health.
• Deal with the Devil: Heavily downplayed. There are indeed costs but, for the most part, the benefits far outweigh them. It ultimately comes down to which deal your making, and unless prior knowledge is acquired, it may be difficult to fully decipher what Yun'Shul is offering thanks to their flowery language. Furthermore, it's not exactly clear what Knowledge is and why Yun'Shul wants it, so it may indeed be a much steeper deal than what's being conveyed.
• Did We Just Have Tea with Cthulhu?: Despite being a Drowned God, they're rather cordial and even pity the Deepbound for their unfortunate circ*mstances.
• Mr. Exposition: If the player meets the correct requirements to become a Contractor, they can ask what happened to Celtor, to which it replies:

  Yun'Shul: IT DOES NOT KNOW? WHAT BROUGHT RUIN TO THIS PLACE? GODSEEKERS, PROPHETS IN BLACK, OFFERING THIS CITY OF STONE AS IF IT WERE FESTERING MEAT. A PALTRY OFFERING, BUT MORE THAN YOUR KIND USUALLY AMOUNT TO.

• Soul Power: As the Keeper of Hearts, Yun'Shul has the ability to manipulate one's soul, which in game is represented by having the ability to change your Resonance.

The Scion of Ethiron

"YOU HAVE DONE US A GREAT SERVICE LITTLE GODSEEKER. YOUR SCREAMS WILL ECHO ACROSS EONS. AN ETERNITY OF SUFFERING AWAITS YOU IN THE AGONY OF THE GALE."

The Drowned God of the Eternal Gale, capable of creating powerful winds.

• Always Accurate Attack: Pressurized Wind is guaranteed to hit even a player who rolls through the attacks with the Ghost Advanced Talent. The only way to avoid damage is to parry it.
• Bad with the Bone: Fittingly enough, most of the Scion of Ethiron's attacks are bone-based.
• Confusion Fu: The Scion of Ethiron will sometimes cancel its Pressurized Wind attack in favor of other attacks.
• Death or Glory Attack: Its whiplash attack does a good amount of damage and knocks back the player as well. If it's parried or successfully blocked, however, then it's vulnerable to a brief barrage of attacks.
• Damage-Sponge Boss: The Scion of Ethiron has a whopping 40k HP, though the deal from Misérables can help somewhat, as it boosts the player's damage for the fight.
• Dem Bones: The Scion of Ethiron resembles a skeletal creature.
• The Dragon: The Scion of Ethiron serves as the guardian to it, and is the final boss of New Kyrsa.
• Fighting a Shadow: Its only confronted through an offshoot known as the Scion of Ethiron and a crude disguise named Mendacia.
• Flunky Boss: Sometimes, the Scion of Ethiron can summon Kyrsgarde Snipers, but they have 900 HP compared to their somewhat-bulky 2000 HP.
• Greater-Scope Villain: It used the brainwashed Kyrsgarde to siege Constellia, resulting in it sinking to the Depths.
• I Have Many Names: The Scion of Ethiron also goes by Ethiron's Scion in certain update logs, and Ethiron's Avatar in the restore rulebook.
• Hijacking Cthulhu: Was on the receiving attempt from one by the Kyrsgarde. Key word being attempt: due to their foolishness, they failed the last ritual and as a result, became their unwilling guardians with few Kyrsgarde managing to avoid the mist.
• Hoist by His Own Petard: The time dilation that Ethiron emits backfires once the Scion of Ethiron is defeated, causing New Kyrsa to be "torn from eternity" and trapping it into a time loop that likely damns it to be stuck in New Kyrsa for a while.
• Load-Bearing Boss: Successfully defeating the Scion of Ethiron causes New Kyrsa to undergo space-time collapse, giving everyone two minutes to escape from the place.
• Meaningful Name:
  • Its puppet imitation of a Black Diver is named Mendacia, which is Latin for liar.
  • Scion are descendants of influential families, though it can also refer to detached living portions of a plant. The Scion of Ethiron has its fibers resemble that of twigs, fitting for an offshoot of Ethiron.
• Mix-and-Match Weapon: Successfully defeating the Scion of Ethiron has a chance for it to drop a Kyrsieger, an Greatsword that can fire a ray of purple energy for its critical akin to a railgun. The weapon's description reveals it was one of the weapons use to siege Constellia.
• No-Sell:
  • The Scion of Ethiron is completely immune to the effects of Vampirism and any other attacks that grant healing on hit, forcing players to rely on the weakened Kyrsgarde Snipers to regain their HP.
  • Zig-zagged in regards to Providence Thorns. While it's not affected by it through its various other attacks, if the Scion of Ethiron does its whiplash attack, then it will be affected by it. Also, putting in a giant bone into the last pillar needed to make the Scion of Ethiron vulnerable to damage will cause it to be affected by Providence Thorns, which is notable if the player is attacked right as they're putting the bone into the last pillar, though this is impractical at best.
• Ominous Fog: Ethiron emits a mist that brainwashes people who have prolonged exposure to it, with the exception of people who are insane.
• Pivotal Boss: The Scion of Ethiron never moves from its initial position in its circular arena.
• Razor Wind: As the Drowned God of the Eternal Gale, it has power over wind, and dying to the Scion of Ethiron's attacks rips apart your character.
• Reality Warper: Its mere existence bends time into a repeating cycle and warps space.
• Time Dilation: A side-effect of being near it time tends to slow or loop around it, which has caused the Eternal Gale to undergo a time loop.
• Token Evil Teammate: Compared to its fellows, Ethiron is noticeably much more evil and petty, actively desiring to wake and bring the destruction of the universe and delighting in the pain and suffering he causes along the way. Its also the only Drowned God out of the known three who has never had a positive relationship with a human (Yun'Shul makes entirely consensual contracts with only minor repercussions and Korilfiend is seemingly working with Pleeksty).

The Drowned God of the Vents, whose magma and fire powers swelter across the layer.

• Animalistic Abomination: Its true form is a large magma serpent, and as the Drowned God of the Vents, is capable of potentially setting the world ablaze.
• Forged by the Gods: Creator of the Forge of Sin, an artifact that modifies souls.
• The Ghost: Of the three known Drowned Gods, Korilfiend is the only one yet to make an appearance in some form.
• Magma Man: Korilfiend's powers are heavily based off of various magma powers. Judging by the subpath Flamecharm users can take, fittingly called Lava Serpent, it's heavily implied that magma is the true form of Flamecharm.
